Six new pieces of headwear have arrived in Palm Social: two crowns you can buy all year, and four Halloween masks for the spooky season.
A free Pumpkin Grin for everyone
Until the end of Sunday, November 1 (Pacific time), every player gets the Pumpkin Grin mask for free. Look for the gift icon in the top-right corner of the game and press Claim gift. The mask goes into your bag (press I): open the Wear filter, pick it and press Wear. Press Take off whenever you like. Other players see it on you right away, and it is yours to keep.
Two crowns
- Crimson King Crown, 2,500 Gold: a closed crown in red velvet and gold, set with jewels.
- Midnight King Crown, 1,800 Gold: a dark open circlet with red gems that sits on your hair.
The crowns are made for the male avatars.
Four Halloween masks
- Porcelain Phantom: white porcelain with a gold-filled crack.
- Bone Reaper: an old bone skull face.
- Pumpkin Grin: a carved jack-o'-lantern, stem and all.
- Raven Masquerade: black feathers edged in gold, with a short beak.
Each mask costs 500 Gold. They are on sale until November 3. Any mask you buy is yours to keep and wear all year. Masks and crowns you own also show up in your bag, so you can put them on or take them off without opening the creator.
How to get them
Open Character & wardrobe from the game menu (or press U) and go to the Outfit tab. The crowns and masks are in the Hats row. Try any of them on for free; Gold is only spent when you press Buy. They use the hat slot, so you wear one at a time. If something doesn't show up, it isn't made for your avatar yet.
Save up your Gold
You earn Gold just by playing. Until October 31 at 5 PM Pacific, the daily reward, the daily task board and the starter tour pay double, so now is a good time to save up for a crown.
