The character creator just got its biggest update yet. Open Character & wardrobe from the game menu (or press U) to try everything below. Most of it is free, and everyone near you sees your new look.
Outfit colours
In the Outfit tab, pick a new colour for your top, bottom and shoes: one of twelve beach shades, or any colour you like with the colour picker. The folds, seams and shading of your clothes stay; only the colour changes. Outfit colours are free and work on 34 avatars so far, with more on the way.
A new Face tab
- Resting face: Natural, Smiley, Curious, Cool, Dreamy or Bright. Blinks, smiles and talking still play on top.
- Eye colour: Brown, Hazel, Amber, Green, Blue or Grey, or keep your original eyes.
Both are free.
Eight face paints
- Freckles and Rosy cheeks: free.
- Cheek hearts, Sport stripes, Cat whiskers, Sugar skull, Cheek star and Sunset wave: 100 Gold each.
Rosy cheeks, the hearts, the stripes, the whiskers and the star come in any colour you like. Try any design on for free; Gold is only spent when you press Buy, and a design you buy is yours to keep. Eye colours and face paint work on almost every avatar.
Glasses colours
Wearing sunglasses? Pick a lens colour: Smoke, Brown, Green, Blue, Rose or Amber. Wearing glasses? Pick a frame colour: Black, Tortoise, Navy, Burgundy, Pink crystal or Blue crystal.
A beach welcome
When you enter Palm Social you now arrive on the beach, at the top of the sand looking out over the water. The second step of the starter tour walks you into town to the fountain plaza.
Smoother running
We fixed several short freezes: the first time you press a key, when new people walk into view, and next to the Gems Store. Running through the plaza is noticeably smoother.
Save up your Gold
Until October 31 at 5 PM Pacific, the daily reward, the daily task board and the starter tour pay double, so this is a good week to pick up a face paint.
