Two new ways to earn in town, and a friendlier daily routine. Here is everything that is new.
Café delivery shifts
Walk up to Jules at the courtyard café, press E, choose Ask Jules for work, then Delivery shift under Café tasks. Pick up each order at the pass with E, carry it to the customer's table (a cup bubble shows where) and press E or click their chair to serve it.
- Every order pays 20 Gold, plus a speed tip: +10 if you serve it within 20 seconds of the cup being ready, +5 within 40 seconds.
- Climb the ranks as you serve: Barista at 25 orders (+10% pay), Head barista at 100 (+20%) and Café manager at 300 (+30%).
- The runner with the most orders of the day is Employee of the Day.
- Pay doubles during Café Social Hour, three times a day. The game shows the times in your own time zone.
Café work pays up to 1,200 Gold a day, the latte and table tasks included. Clock out any time to see your shift: orders, pay, tips and your best combo.
Table service
Sitting in the café? Open Jules's menu, choose Bring it to my table and pick a drink. A player on a delivery shift brings it over. Table orders stay open for two minutes.
Fresh shells on the beach, every day
Ten shells wash up on the wet sand every day, with a new set at 00:00 UTC. Walk up to one and press E (or click it) to put it in your bag. You might find:
- Cockle, Clam and Scallop: common, 3 to 5 Gold.
- Whelk and Moon snail: uncommon, 14 to 16 Gold.
- Conch and Sand dollar: rare, 70 to 80 Gold.
- Golden cowrie: legendary, 250 Gold.
Keep them, gift them to a friend, or sell them at the Farmers' Market (up to 400 Gold of sales a day). The hidden collection shells around the beach now drop a shell into your bag too.
Daily tasks with a bonus
The daily task board has new quick tasks, like Find 3 seashells and Serve 3 café orders. Tasks that need a home (watering, harvesting, cooking) only show up once you have one. Finish all three of the day's tasks for a 45 Gold bonus.
Keep your streak
One missed day a week no longer resets your daily reward streak.
A better starter tour
New players get steps that are easy to finish on their first day: help out at the café, find a seashell, and claim your free lot in Palm Heights.
Auto shifts
Walking away during an auto shift now asks Clock out now? instead of ending it on the spot.
Double payout ends October 31
Until October 31 at 5 PM Pacific, the daily reward, the daily task board and the starter tour pay double, the new task bonus included.
