New Glasses, Sunglasses and a Better Fit in Palm Social

Eight new glasses to try on, a better fit for every pair, and beach shells that show exactly what you will find. Here is everything that is new.

Eight new glasses

Open Character & wardrobe from the game menu (or press U) and go to the Outfit tab. The new glasses are in the Eyewear row.

Free: Cat-eye glasses, Heart sunglasses, Oversized round shades, Sport wrap sunglasses, Browline glasses and Hexagon glasses.
Star sunglasses: 100 Gold. Pick them and press Buy for 100 Gold under the row, or buy them at STUDIO / 04 on the east promenade.
Streak shades: never sold. Collect your daily reward until your streak reaches 7 days, and the Daily reward card tells you: You unlocked the Streak shades! If your best streak is already 7 days or more, they are already yours.

Try any pair on for free; Gold is only spent when you press Buy. Everyone near you sees your new glasses.

Wearing a pair? Pick its colour under the Eyewear row, or keep Original for its own look, like the sunset lenses of the Streak shades.

Sunglasses (heart, star, oversized, sport wrap and the Streak shades) take your colour in the lenses: Smoke, Brown, Green, Blue, Rose or Amber.
Cat-eye glasses take it in the frame and browline glasses in the brow bar. Pink crystal and Blue crystal are translucent, and Tortoise is a tortoiseshell pattern.
Hexagon glasses take it in the thin wire frame, which keeps its metal finish.

All twelve styles got a new fit, including the round, square, aviator and wayfarer pairs that were already in the game:

Every pair is seated at the bridge of the nose, as close to each face as it can sit without touching.
Frames have a natural tilt: the bottom of the lenses leans toward the cheeks, like real glasses.
On frames with nose pads, the pads adjust to each face.
Frames stay clear of brows and cheeks, even when your avatar smiles.

Each of the eight shells, from the Cockle to the Golden cowrie, now has its own model on the sand.

The shell you see is the shell you get. Spot a Golden cowrie? Click it, or walk up and press E, and it goes into your bag.
Your shells are your own. The spots are the same for everyone, but each player sees their own shells there.
The hidden collection shells work the same way: the shell you see there is the one you get.
